what happened today
today i finished the wind-up bird chronicle
today hermes was too sleepy to wake up with his mama
today by best friend laura started a new job
today i finally bought the websites i’ve been eying
today i got laid off from work
today i packed up my desk, collected the work i’ve done over the past year and a half and set off for home
today, for the first time ever, a guy in the elevator asked me how my day was - i told him great, but actually i just got laid off, no problem though cause i was planning to quit next week
today he told me i’d be just fine and not to worry - that everything happens for a reason and that i would do great things - he saw it in my eyes
today i got my push to move forward and follow my dreams and to ensure that the elevator was right
today i took my first steps toward the life i want
today is a great start
